One One Six is an exploration of rich timbres and re-contextualisations of everyday sounds, inspired by Dali's 'Landscape with Girl Skipping Rope' the piece moves from rapid, confused movements, to vastly open sweeping gestures ,mimicing the feeling openness, disconnection and searcing exhibited in Dali's piece. However One One Six is a cool, soothing journey for the ear.
Originally composed for part of my final year creative music technology degree portfolio. The piece was mixed for four channel playback, however the above version is a stereo mix.
